JOIN YP

Thank you for your interest in joining the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals (MULYP).  MULYP is an organization committed to uplifting Greater Memphis Area while fostering the personal and professional development of our members.

Our membership is comprised of young professionals ages 21-40. We look forward to your participation in continuing our efforts to make a difference in the Memphis community. Our members play an active role in our organization.

In order to become a member, you must complete an application and pay $50 dues, which entitles you to membership of the National Urban League, Memphis Urban League, Memphis Urban League Young Professionals and the National Urban League Young Professionals for one year.

All potential members are encouraged to attend a General Body Meeting and committee meeting before joining. Please subscribe to our newsletter and connect with us on social media for our upcoming General Body Meetings, events, and programs. For more information contact membership@memulyp.org. 

Membership Requirements

  • Financially Active 

  • Be a member of at least 1 task force committee

  • Attend a mandatory Membership Orientation 

  • Complete a minimum of 10 service hours per year

  • Promote the work of the chapter through advocacy and involvement in programs & events
