November 2018 General Body Meeting

Join us as we learn about how we can protect and advocate for our youth by supporting the work of the Memphis Children's Advocacy Center (MCAC).

Also help us collect teddy bears for MCAC. When kids visit the MCAC for the first time, it is usually because they’ve been hurt by someone they trust—resulting in an undeserved sense of shame. Your gift of a brand new teddy bear affirms their goodness. It provides them a choice they have control over. And it gives them comfort.

We need teddy bears that are 14” high or more--and brand new. You can drop off your teddy bear to the Memphis Urban League from November 8- 30.

Additionally, you can drop off your teddy bear during the GBM on November 8 when we meet at the MCAC for our meeting.
