About the event

The Black Millennial Political Convention (BMC) cordially invites you to our 2nd Annual Regional event: “Our Crown has Already Been Paid For” Summit to be held March 6 - 7, 2020 on the campus of Lemoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee.

This event will include plenaries centered on needs and wants of the Black community in Memphis. It will also feature local, statewide and national leading Millennial voices such as Tami Sawyer, Shelby County Commissioner; LaTricea Adams, President, Black Millennials for Flint; Raumesh Akbari, Senator, District 9; London Lamar, Tennessee House of Representatives, 91st District; Dr. Wes Bellamy, former Vice Mayor and current Councilman of Charlottesville, Virginia and many others.

Registration is $60* and includes:

  • Tickets to Kickoff Social Mixer, Summit, and Awards Ceremony
  • Sponsorship Bags
  • Welcome Reception - Friday, March 6, 2020 7:00 PM-10:00 PM (Memphis Slim House- 1130 College St. Memphis, TN)
  • Summit - Saturday, March 7, 2019 8:00 AM-4:00 PM 
  • Awards Ceremony & After-Party - Saturday, March 7, 2019  8:00 PM-12:00 AM 

Guests are required to secure your own lodging.  Conference hotel is The Westin Memphis Beale Street and discount rate is available in the conference block.  Reserve your room.
